Medieval Borgo

The compact borgo grew up around the ancient Pieve in Pincis church and it preserves to this day the fascination of this land with its centuries-old humus of culture. After a magisterial, painstaking restoration directed by RAS, the borgo represents a small architectural gem perfectly preserved within in the jewel-box of Chianti's magic landscape.

A section of the borgo was re-structured, in the late 20th century, into an elegant hotel affiliated with the world-famous international chain of deluxe hotels, Relais & Chateaux. It boasts an outstanding restaurant, Poggio Rosso, where the imaginative dishes of celebrated chef Antonio Fallini, accompanied by San Felice wines, never fail to delight guests.
