Our chef Francesco Bracali, holder of two Michelin stars, is behind the gourmet experience at the Poggio Rosso, where he presents exceptional dishes based on local produce and culinary traditions, revisited with astounding creativity. Poggio Rosso’s menu is founded on the principle of blending traditional Tuscan specialities, excellent ingredients and outstanding gastronomic professionalism. This is how we offer such a rare mix of tradition and innovation. Meats and vegetables play a leading role and are presented as purely traditional Tuscan and Italian dishes or as revisited, creative Chianti specialities. All the food and wines served at Borgo San Felice are selected on the basis of quality, with a preference for the most exclusive local products, such as Reggello pink chick-peas, Certaldo spring onions, San Gimignano saffron, premium olive oil and the outstanding wines from the Agricola San Felice estate. As well as offering the best Italian and international labels, the wine-list focuses on local wines, with particular reference to wines originating from Agricola San Felice’s research into Sangiovese, such as Vigorello, Poggio Rosso and Campogiovanni Brunello di Montalcino DOCG.
