San Felice was actually ahead of its time, since in the 1980s, when Brunello’s star had really yet to rise, the winery, with exquisite foresight, purchased Campogiovanni, a tenuta on the southwest side of the Montalcino hillslope. It currently comprises 14 hectares of vines dedicated to the production of Brunello di Montalcino, one of the most iconic wines of San Felice’s entire line. It is a top-ranked olive-oil estate as well, whose 2,000 trees produce an outstanding extravirgin oil.
