WINE SPECTATOR, U.S.A. (2011)

exceptional rate for Campogiovanni Brunello di Montalcino 2006

Our U.S. agent has just informed us that our ‘CAMPOGIOVANNI’ BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO 2006 has been rated 96 POINTS by Wine Spectator and in their July 31 issue the label will be in the page of the ‘Collectibles’ of the Spectator Selections.

We are not 100% sure but we think that Campogiovanni with this rating is within the top scored Brunello’s of this vintage.

After the 7th place in the ‘Top 100s’ Wine Spectattor of the ‘90s, Campogiovanni Brunello has always received excellent ratings, but this latter is without doubts the best and it is in addition of the excellent performances of Vigorello 2006 (94 points), Poggio Rosso 2006 (93 points) and Pugnitello 2007 (93 points Wine advocate).

Congratulations to Leonardo Bellaccini (winemaker at San Felice since 1984), Carlo Salvinelli and Roberta Pugliese (agronomists) and all our workers in the vineyards and in the cellar for their contribute to the production of these wonderful wines.
