TRE BICCHIERI PUGNITELLO 2007

After the very good ratings of Wine Spectator and Wine Advocate to some of our wines (Il Grigio, Vigorello, Poggio Rosso, etc.), we acknowledge  another important success.

The Guida dei Vini d’Italia 2010 of Gambero Rosso has awarded with Tre Bicchieri PUGNITELLO 2007.

The prize ceremony and the tasting will take place at Città del Gusto in Rome on Sunday, October 18.

Pugnitello had been already a “Tre Bicchieri” last year with the former vintage 2006. This second reappointment is placing definitively this grape varietal among the most significant novelties of the Italian wine production.

As you are aware Pugnitello is an ancient Tuscan varietal rediscovered by the University of Florence and experimented at San Felice for more than 20 years. In this moment San Felice is still the sole Producer in the world to have in the market a wine produced entirely with this grape.

Pugnitello 2007 has been produced in 18,000 bottles and will be released in March 2010.
